When I lived in Darwin I had a 14 foot aluminum boat that I would go fishing in a lot. Barramundi and Mangrove Jack were what I was fishing for, great tasting fish and they live in mud crab and crocodile country. So I would drop 3 or 4 mud crab pots on the way out, go fishing, usually catch fish and then pick up the crab pots on the way back almost always with mud crabs in them. That would keep me going for food for at least a week saving a lot of money. Wish I had my boat today with fish costing around $60 a kilo. Crabs not much better. I can't bring myself to pay that.
