Peter Killington known as Woofles to his friends was in my opinion the best drummer in Darwin during my time there. I met Pete when I moved to Darwin and got a room in a house that had a lot of people sharing. Some years later I shared the stage with him in the Darwin Party Boys. Pete was well liked he led a somewhat private life. I found out years after I met him that he was gay though you would have never picked him for being gay. Years after I left Darwin I heard that he had died. I don't know what he died from. I struggle with losing friends. Often they are just gone with nothing to say they were ever here. So I wrote this tribute song for him.
