Activity & Notifications
The Activity panel, feed tabs, and notification centre
The Activity panel is your central place to see what's happening on UPchart. Open it from the Activity link in the navbar or by going to /activity. You’ll see: • New song uploads • Ratings and chart movements • New playlists and playlist activity • Comments and likes • Who’s following whom Use it to discover new music, keep up with people you follow, and track your own activity.
When you’re signed in, the Activity panel has four tabs: For You — Community-wide activity: new uploads, ratings, playlists, and more from everyone. Following — Activity only from people and artists you follow. Use this to focus on your circle. My Activity — Everything you’ve done: uploads, ratings, playlists, comments. Your own timeline. Notifications — Alerts about you: when someone comments, when your song hits a chart milestone (e.g. top 10), when you get a tip, and similar. Unread count is shown on the tab.
You can narrow what you see: Entity filter — Show only activity about users, artists, or songs. Activity type — Focus on uploads, ratings, playlists, comments, or other types. View mode — Switch between a fuller card view and a compact one-line view. Filters apply per tab. Clearing filters resets to “all” for that tab.
Notifications keep you up to date on things that involve you: • Chart milestones — Your song entered the top 100, top 10, or hit #1 • Comments — Someone commented on your song, playlist, or profile • Tips and other interactions — When you receive credits or similar You can open notifications from the Notifications tab in the Activity panel, or from the dedicated Notifications page (e.g. via the navbar). Unread items are marked; you can mark all as read. Your preferences (e.g. which notification types to receive) can be managed in Settings under Notifications.
