Submitting to Playlists

Submit your songs to playlists that accept submissions

1
What is submitting to playlists?

Some playlists on UPchart allow artists to submit their own songs for consideration. When you submit a song, the playlist owner reviews it and can accept or reject it. If accepted, your song is added to their playlist—giving you exposure to their audience and helping your music be discovered.

How to submit a song
1

Find a playlist that accepts submissions (look for the “Submit a song” or “Submissions” section on the playlist page)

2

Open the playlist page and scroll to the submissions area

3

Search for your song or pick one from your songs

4

Click Submit to send your song to the playlist owner for review

Submission rules

• One submission at a time: You can only have one pending submission per playlist. Wait until the owner accepts or rejects it before submitting another song. • Your songs only: You can only submit songs you’ve created or that you have rights to (e.g. songs on your artist profile). • Playlist must allow submissions: Not all playlists accept submissions. Only playlists that have turned on “Accept submissions” will show the submit option. • No duplicate songs: You can’t submit a song that’s already in the playlist.

4
After you submit

Your submission stays “pending” until the playlist owner reviews it. They can: • Accept your song — it’s added to the playlist and you’ll see it in the playlist. • Reject your song — it’s not added. You can submit a different song to the same playlist after that. You’ll see whether your submission is pending, accepted, or rejected on the playlist page. There’s no time limit for the owner to respond.
