Information We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Email addresses from users who sign up for early access notifications
- Account information when you create an account or sign in using OAuth providers
OAuth Authentication (Google and Facebook)
You can sign in to UpChart using your Google or Facebook account. When you choose to sign in with one of these providers:
- Google Sign-In: We receive your email address, name, and profile picture (if available) from your Google account. We use this information to create and manage your UpChart account.
- Facebook Sign-In: We receive your email address, name, and profile picture (if available) from your Facebook account. We use this information to create and manage your UpChart account.
The authentication process is handled securely through our authentication provider (Supabase). We do not store your Google or Facebook passwords, and we only access the information you explicitly grant permission for during the sign-in process.
By using OAuth sign-in, you are also subject to the privacy policies of Google and Facebook. We encourage you to review their privacy policies:
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your UpChart account
- Send you launch notifications and updates about UpChart
- Provide you with access to our services
- Personalize your experience on our platform
We will not share your information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services (such as through our authentication provider) or as required by law.
Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. You can delete your account and associated data in the following ways:
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account directly through your account settings in the UpChart application. This will permanently delete your account and all associated personal data.
- Request by Email: You can request account deletion by contacting us at hello@upchart.ai with your account email address and a request for account deletion.
When you request account deletion, we will:
- Delete your account information, including your email address, profile data, and preferences
- Delete any content you have uploaded to the platform (unless required to retain for legal or compliance purposes)
- Remove your data from our active systems within 30 days of your request
- Disassociate your OAuth provider connection (Google or Facebook) from your UpChart account
Important Notes:
- Deleting your UpChart account does not delete your Google or Facebook account. You must manage those accounts separately through their respective platforms.
- Some data may be retained in backup systems for up to 90 days before permanent deletion, as part of our data backup and recovery procedures.
- We may be required to retain certain information for legal, regulatory, or compliance purposes (such as transaction records or content that may be subject to legal proceedings).
- Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover any of your data or content. This action is irreversible.
