69 years old and spent 30+ years in professional cover bands in Northern Australia as well as touring up and down the Queensland coast on a circuit. Promoters would not hire you if you played originals. I finally found a great original band and the promoter we had all worked for previously told us to go and learn 40 covers and told me he wanted me to get my hair permed. That was the end for me.
