Promote Your Songs
Boost your music’s visibility with Chart Boost, Search Boost, and Featured Carousel
Promotion lets you pay credits to give your songs more visibility on UPchart. Your track stays in the charts on merit—ratings and plays still matter—but promotion puts your song in front of more listeners so it can get discovered and climb the ranks. You can only promote songs you own (songs you’ve uploaded to your account).
Chart Boost
Your song appears in the “Promoted” section on the charts page, right after the top-ranked songs. Great for getting noticed by people browsing the live or daily chart.
Search Boost
Your song gets higher priority when people search. It can appear nearer the top of search results so more listeners find it.
Featured Carousel
Your song can be featured in the carousel on charts and discovery pages, giving it prominent placement and extra exposure.
Open the song you want to promote (e.g. from your profile, playlists, or the charts).
Use the “Promote” or “Promote song” option on the song (often in a menu or on the song card).
Choose a promotion type: Chart Boost, Search Boost, or Featured Carousel.
Select how many days you want the promotion to run (1–30 days).
Confirm. Credits will be deducted for the full duration; your song will be promoted for that period.
Each promotion type has a cost per day (in credits). The total cost is (cost per day) × (number of days). Make sure you have enough credits before confirming.
• Duration: You choose 1–30 days. The promotion is active for that entire period. • Cost: Prices are set per day for each promotion type (Chart Boost, Search Boost, Featured Carousel). Total cost = cost per day × number of days. Exact amounts are shown in the promotion flow and on the Credits page. • Your songs only: You can only promote songs that you uploaded (songs tied to your account). You cannot promote other people’s songs. • Credits: Promotion is paid with UPchart credits. If you don’t have enough credits, you’ll need to earn or buy more before promoting.
You can see your active and past promotions in your account: go to Settings (or Account) and look for the “Promotions” or “My promotions” section. There you can view which songs are currently promoted, which type, and when each promotion ends.
